Our firm was founded on April 21, 1992, by CARLOS HERNÁNDEZ CONTRERAS and CÉSAR HERRERA DÍAZ, who were classmates at the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University (UNPHU) Law School from 1985 to 1990.

Before founding the firm, CARLOS HERNÁNDEZ CONTRERAS worked from 1988 to 1992, first as a paralegal and then as a lawyer, in the office of his father, DR. LUPO HERNÁNDEZ RUEDA, with whom he trained in his main area of expertise, Labor and Employment Law, and later also specialized in Social Security Law.

For his part, CÉSAR HERRERA DÍAZ received his training in International Law, specializing in International Arbitration after completing postgraduate studies in Chile, Brazil, Spain, and the United Kingdom. He is currently the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Peru, after having served as a diplomat for the last 25 years in the Dominican embassies in Geneva (Switzerland), Berlin (Germany), and Vienna (Austria).

Since its founding, the firm has provided legal services in virtually all areas of law. CARLOS HERNÁNDEZ CONTRERAS has had a distinguished career in the areas of Labor and Employment Law, while CÉSAR HERRERA DÍAZ has developed extensive professional experience in International Trade Law, Commercial Arbitration, and the negotiation of international treaties and agreements, although he is not currently practicing law, being fully occupied with his diplomatic duties.

These two founding partners have been joined by two other partners: MATILDE GUERRERO CASTILLO and HERMES GUERRERO BÁEZ, as well as associate attorneys, who have enabled the firm to offer a wide range of legal consulting and litigation services in a variety of legal disciplines, such as Civil Law, Family Law, Real Estate Law, Immigration Law, Commercial Law, Civil Procedural Law, Criminal Procedural Law, and Administrative Litigation, among others.

Today, the firm seeks to strengthen its position among law firms based in the Dominican Republic, combining legal consulting for companies and individuals in their businesses with the highest quality in all types of litigation: civil, labor, real estate, administrative, etc.
